Father's Day

This year, Father's day was a special day at our house. We started the day off by waking Win up with a few things that we made around here all by Molly Grace. We went to church at Hoover with Win's family and went to each lunch with them afterwards. After lunch, we drove to Montgomery so that I could see my daddy and spend a few hours there. It was a busy but wonderful day.

Molly Grace absolutely adores her daddy. I am so thankful for such a good husband and a wonderful daddy to our baby girl. She is one lucky girl to get to call this man her daddy! We love you to the moon and back!

Bath time fun!

MG discovered the bags hanging in our pantry and loved them!

Sucking her thumb on our walks with Sarah and the girls!

She tried {and loved} sweet peas on June 13.

My sweet lunch date every day!

She realized she likes sleeping on her side.

This is what Toby does a lot of the times when Molly Grace is sleeping!

We had a big milestone today! Molly Grace has been fussy the past few days and I didn't know what it was from. Today, her first tooth has made it's apperance! I cannot believe that she is old enough to get a tooth. I will miss the gummy smiles, but I am sure I will love the toothy ones as well! :)

Happy Friday!

-Her baby food
-Walks in her stroller
-Play mat and Jumperoo
-Grabbing at anything and everything
-The sight of her bottle
-Her crib
-Her thumb
-Rolling over

Molly Grace,
Each and everyday you never cease to amaze your daddy and mommy. You are such a blessing and we are falling more in love with you as each month goes by. We are loving the new things you are able to do and cannot wait to see what else you have to show us. Your laugh and smile is contageous, we cannot get enough of either of them. We are still loving your gummy smile and know it won't last long before a tooth is in there. God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave us you. Our hearts are very full, we love you to the moon and back.

Here are some more pictures from this past week since we were at the beach I didn't get around to posting Photo Friday.

Win got off work early one Friday and we went to the Botanical Gardens.

Molly Grace is rolling EVERYWHERE! You cannot leave her for a few seconds or she will be on the other side of the room!

This is what happens when daddy brushes MG's hair!

Like mother like daughter. She LOVES her thumb!

Loved seeing Wyatt and Ashley for a little while!

LOVE these two!

This is how I usually find her in the mornings. {Turned completely around in her crib}

We started last weekend off early with our first 5k! Our goal was to finishe under 40 minutes and we did! It was so much fun, we spent a few hours at the zoo when we were done.
We were very busy this week and got to see Ayda twice! We went for a nice stroll around the Galleria and our daddies met us for lunch!
Like mother like daughter. This little girl likes her thumb!
This is what naptimes look like lately. When Molly Grace wakes up from  her nap she tries so hard to roll over in her crib, but usually settles for turning around instead!
Sweet baby!

I tried squash this week and I like it okay.

Toby's still here!

Photo Friday + Baby Food Adventures

This week started off with a very special day for me. Sunday was my first Mother's Day and I feel so blessed to be living this role of a Mommy. Molly Grace brings me so much joy every day. Last year on Mother's Day we were keeping it a secret that I was going to be a Mother, I was only about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. So, needless to say, this year was different and very special.

Mother's Day

We have been busy. On Monday, we decided to make the plunge and get me a new car. {New to me} The Avalon was having issues and was going to cost more than we wanted to put into it. We have been looking and pretty much knew what I wanted.

I LOVE my Toyota Highlander. It has so much room in it compared to my car. It only made sense for us to get an SUV right now since we are just a family of 3. I will say that I do not think I'll ever go back to having a car.

Molly Grace had her 4 month check up on Tuesday.
Her Stats: 13 lbs 9 1/2 ounces {50th Percentile} 25 1/2 inches long {90th Percentile}, and her head circumference is 17 inches {or as her nurse says, "Molly Grace is 17 inches smart}
She got her 4 month shots and it was NOT fun. She cried and cried, but as soon as I picked her up, she was fine.

Having fun at the doctor's office
We were also given the go ahead on baby food. This week has been so much fun! We decided that sweet potatoes is where we wanted to start. She had a difficult time at first, but is doing SO much better. It is so much fun. She LOVES them. We bought sweet potatoes at the grocery store this week and I have made her baby food for the next week. We will do just sweet potatoes for 4 days, then add squash to the mix! I cannot believe my baby is old enough to eat baby food!

Win and I are doing our first 5K tomorrow! We are so excited! Have a great weekend!
