This week started off with a very special day for me. Sunday was my first Mother's Day and I feel so blessed to be living this role of a Mommy. Molly Grace brings me so much joy every day. Last year on Mother's Day we were keeping it a secret that I was going to be a Mother, I was only about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. So, needless to say, this year was different and very special.

Mother's Day |
We have been busy. On Monday, we decided to make the plunge and get me a new car. {New to me} The Avalon was having issues and was going to cost more than we wanted to put into it. We have been looking and pretty much knew what I wanted.
I LOVE my Toyota Highlander. It has so much room in it compared to my car. It only made sense for us to get an SUV right now since we are just a family of 3. I will say that I do not think I'll ever go back to having a car.
Molly Grace had her 4 month check up on Tuesday.
Her Stats: 13 lbs 9 1/2 ounces {50th Percentile} 25 1/2 inches long {90th Percentile}, and her head circumference is 17 inches {or as her nurse says, "Molly Grace is 17 inches smart}
She got her 4 month shots and it was NOT fun. She cried and cried, but as soon as I picked her up, she was fine.

Having fun at the doctor's office |
We were also given the go ahead on baby food. This week has been so much fun! We decided that sweet potatoes is where we wanted to start. She had a difficult time at first, but is doing SO much better. It is so much fun. She LOVES them. We bought sweet potatoes at the grocery store this week and I have made her baby food for the next week. We will do just sweet potatoes for 4 days, then add squash to the mix! I cannot believe my baby is old enough to eat baby food!
Win and I are doing our first 5K tomorrow! We are so excited! Have a great weekend!
