July 15 - 21

We have had a pretty boring week this week as far as doing things. Molly Grace hasn't been feeling well this week and on Wednesday we took her to the Dr. He said her ears looked fine, but gave us a prescription to get filled in a few days if she kept getting worse. On Thursday night when we put her down to sleep, she grabbed both of her ears and said "hurt". We got her medicine filled that night and she is slowly but surely starting to get better.

Melts my heart

Not feeling well :(

Getting in our daily walks
I took Molly Grace to the park on Saturday...we had to get out of the house!

Going down the slide all by herself!

She loves the swings!

July 8 - 14

On Monday we hung around the house getting unpacked from the weekend in Mobile. We went to play at Hadley's house that afternoon.

On Tuesday we went to the doctor for Molly Grace's 18 month check up and got her last shot until she turns 4!

Wednesday we went to the library for story time and checked out some more books!

Thursday we had company! Rebecca and Ayda came to visit for a few hours!

Friday we met Katy and Charlie downtown at the museum! Molly Grace loves her "Katy and Carlie". Then we had lunch with Daddy at Milo's! Molly Grace was so sleepy after all of this fun that she let me rock her to sleep. She doesn't even know how much joy this brings me!

"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8

On Saturday, we ran some errands and did some things around the house and then Grammy and Papa came over early afternoon. We had such a good time!

Sunday we had church and connect group. Molly Grace loves playing with Charlie on Sunday nights!

It was a big day for Molly Grace!! She is no longer sleeping in a crib, she has her very own big girl bed! We got it all ready for her to sleep in Sunday night and she did great! We can't believe our baby is no longer in a crib!

She "helped" daddy put her bed together!

Monday morning after her first night in her big girl bed!

I can't believe she now has a big girl room!

18 Months!

Molly Grace,

You are 18 months old. 1 year and 6 months. I cannot believe it. In less than 4 months you will be a big sister. You are doing so much these days. We are so proud of you and love you to the moon and back baby girl!

You talk all the time. You love to repeat anything anyone says! You love doing new things and are not scared of anything. You are starting to test Mommy and Daddy when we tell you "No". It is so hard to not laugh at you when you get in trouble!!

You love Toby. So much. I can't even begin to explain how much you love your Toby. You call his name when we are out somewhere and wonder where he is.

You are becoming a Daddy's girl and it makes this Mommy happy to see that. You love your daddy! When he leaves for work you get upset and say "work" and frown. There is nothing more precious for me to hear you and your daddy's laughter in the house when he comes home from work.

You are the light of our lives, we don't know what we would do without you! We love you so much!

Your stats at 18 months:

weight: 22 lbs 15 oz
height: 33 1/2 inches
and you are 18 1/2 inches smart!

You had your very last shot until you turn 4! We are so happy about that!

July 1 - 7

Monday we had a rough day. Not all days are great and glorious when raising a child, and let's be real. Monday was bad. We started off on a good note wanting to get some exercise. Molly Grace and I went out for a walk in the neighborhood. It felt amazing outside! It started sprinkling but nothing more so we kept on going. Then, all of the sudden, it was pouring!! I, being 23 weeks pregnant ran up the hill in our neighborhood. Needless to say,  I paid for that later. We came back inside to wait the rain out and then finished our walk! Win had to work WAY late and almost didn't make it home for bedtime routine with MG. Luckily he did because Molly Grace loves her daddy and missed him so much!

Tuesday we weren't going to let our Monday ruin our week! We started off this day with another 1.5 mile walk around the neighborhood. We had a fun pool day with our sweet friends down the street and then Molly Grace decided she wanted to figure out how to call Nana on the iPad! (she successfully did all by herself)

Pool fun with Caroline and Mackenzie

"Nana, Nana, Hello??"

Wednesday we went to story time at the Pelham Public Library & then headed to Mobile for the long weekend!

Wednesday when Daddy got off of work, we headed to Mobile for the LONG weekend! Nana & Granddaddy were gone until Friday, but we enjoyed being there that long. It was a much needed scenery change!

Big girl ready to head to Mobile

She put Elmo and her lovies on the arm rest of her chair and she sat on the opposite side, she was so proud of herself.

How to calm a fussy toddler: give her Toby!

Drinking milk from a big girl cup! She did so good she made her Mommy tear up!

On Thursday, July 4th, we didn't do too much of anything. We went to the park that morning and hung out at Nana and Granddaddy's house the rest of the day.

Riding with Daddy on the tire swing.

This girl found her a pine cone and wouldn't let go of it!

Friday we patiently waited for Nana and Grandaddy to get back! Molly Grace loves her Nana and Granddaddy!

Saturday it rained all day so we got out the big waffle blocks, and then we went out to dinner that night.

Out to dinner on Saturday night!

Love my sweet family!

June 24 - 30

Monday we stayed around the house and gave Toby a bath. Molly Grace was a big help!

Tuesday Molly Grace and I enjoyed a nice walk. Breakfast on the go for MG while Mommy got her exercise in!

Wednesday Molly Grace used the potty! I am trying to get her used to the potty again, in a few weeks I am going to try to potty train and see what happens.

Thursday we went to the zoo with Katy and Charlie. We had so much fun and even rode the train!

Loved the train with "Carlie"

Enjoying the water hose on a HOT afternoon!

Friday we went to the zoo again! This time we took Daddy and went after work. There are hardly any people at the zoo on Friday nights. Molly Grace even got to ride the carousel!

After the zoo we went to Zoes for dinner and then Pottery Barn and bought Molly Grace's big girl bed spread! We are so excited to be putting her in a big girl bed soon!

Saturday we ran errands and got groceries, then we enjoyed a nice quiet evening at home!

In order to not have a fussy baby while shopping, suckers and paper with whatever writing utensil you have is the key!

Sunday we went to church, home for lunch and a nap and then to Target and Connect Group!

My heart

This represents just how hard it is to get MG's picture! She is so busy!
