Photo Friday

We started off the week having to get MG real walking shoes. After a trip to Stride Rite and a shoe measurement later, we are in size 3 shoes!

I'm an Aunt! Sam Andrew Bullington was born on October 24th! We are so excited for Drew and Amy.

Can't wait to hug on this little boy at Thanksgiving!!

Zoo day with friends

Lots of neighborhood strolls this week! We are ready for cooler weather though!

The moment when all three children had meltdowns. And Sam didn't know what to think!

Food Diaries

I am going to start posting more on day to day things Molly Grace is doing/eating. I do not want to forget what she is doing. This stage is so fast and fun!

Loves to eat:
-butter beans (will choose these over apples and bananas)
-bananas
-steamed apples
-chicken
-deli sliced turkey
-pieces of white and sweet potatoes
-green beans
-she tried some of my white chicken enchilada and loved it

We are trying spaghetti tonight! It will definitely be a diaper only meal followed by a bath immediately! I cannot wait to see what she does.

Favorite toys:
-sit and stand walker
-car
-baby doll
-blocks
-shape sorter

You are currently on 4 bottles a day with 6 ounces in each bottle and are doing great with that. We have been able to cut out that one extra bottle. Your naps are on and off right now. Usually you will take 2 naps a day, but lately you have cut out the morning nap, or you will go down early for an afternoon nap and take a late afternoon nap.

Pumpkins!

Saturday morning we had Molly Grace's 9 month photo session with Cookwire Photography. It is bittersweet that we only have one session left. After that, we went to Critter Creek Farm in Vance, AL with Josh, Rebecca and Ayda Hickman! We assumed it would be a short visit with a hay ride and leaving with pumpkins, little did we know the treat we had in store with feeding animals. It was quite interesting, but we will never forget Molly Grace's first pumpkin patch. We had a great time and loved getting to be great friends!

Win snapped with beautiful picture of MG.

NEW POST BELOW!
9 MONTH POST!

Inside Out Day

9 months in, 9 months out

I absolutely cannot believe my "baby" is 9 months old. I took Molly Grace for her 9 month well visit on Wednesday. Just like at 6 months, she started getting a runny nose and cough the day before her visit. (Works out well, don't have to pay to make sure she's not sick when she's not if we have an appointment.) Let me just say, we LOVE our pediatrician and nurses. Dr. Corto is the best. He makes us laugh every time we go and this time in particular, MG could NOT stop staring at him.

Big girl at her well visit

Cannot believe that is a 9 in the picture.

Her stats at 9 months are:
-17 pounds 9 ounces (25-40%)
-28 inches long (50-75%)
-You are 18 inches smart.

At this stage you:
-are crawling everywhere!
-have taken your first steps!!! Mommy and Daddy were both at home when you did this on September 28th! We were screaming we were so excited! You aren't walking just yet, but you will take several steps several times in a day. We still have a while, but you are getting better at it!
-LOVE books. You will sit at let us read books to you now. It is the sweetest thing. Your favorite book is your Touch and Feel Farm Book. You love to feel the dog, cow, hen and pig.
-are attached to your lovie. So much so that we have ordered you another one just like it. If you don't have it at nap or night time, you do not sleep.
-walk behind your sit and stand walker and your car all the time.
-started eating more "finger foods". You have tried steamed apples cut up (LOVE them), white potatoes (you didn't know what to think at first, but you like it too), sweet potatoes and bananas.
-are still drinking 4-5 bottles a day (5 oz)
-are in size 3 diapers
-are in 9 month clothes, but can wear some 12 month clothes already
-love being outside
-are really starting to pay attention to Toby (he's still not so sure about you)
-crawled to Mommy while saying "Ma Ma" several times (10.11)
-are becoming attached to Mommy
-love when daddy comes home from work. There is SO much excitement on your face. (daddy loves this time, too)
-are getting better at using your sippy cup
-can say "ma ma", "da da", "na na", "ba ba", "la la", and a whole lot more sweet babbles!
-have 5 teeth! (3 on the top, 3 on bottom)

We love you so much Molly Grace! Our hearts are so full because of you. We love watching you grow and explore each and every day!

Vacation in Gatlinburg

On Friday, we loaded up and headed to Gatlinburg, TN with the Gilliland family! We had an awesome cabin not far from downtown Gatlinburg. We hung out at the cabin most of the day on Saturday, watching the AU game and playing with the girls. We watched a movie and played games. MG was so tired from not sleeping on the way up, Friday night she did great. Saturday and Sunday night, however, were completely different stories. She decided she didn't want to sleep. We ended up taking her downstairs at 3 am and letting her play because we didn't know what else to do. We slept a total of 3 hours that night. We went to the outlets on Sunday and then to Clingman's Dome that afternoon and then went out to eat with Neil, Sarah and the girls. Sunday night started off bad. MG woke up several times screaming. We knew that if we stayed there, we would be awake all night again, meaning we would have 3 hours of sleep in 2 nights then driving home, or we could just pack up and drive then rest at home on Monday. We decided on the last option. We packed our things, cleaned up, and headed home at 1 am. We got home at 6:10 am. It was well worth it to have all day Monday to do nothing. We hated that we didn't get to stay our full time, but you never know what is going to happen when you take a baby on vacation. We need a vacation from our vacation. Phew. We are tired. We had a good time, we just want our baby to be happy and wish we knew what was going on. Here's some pictures from our trip.

Baby- check! Lovie- check! On our way to Gatlinburg!

Couch buddies! I love this girl!

Having fun in the bath!

All bundled up for the outlets!
