Photo Friday

We started last weekend off early with our first 5k! Our goal was to finishe under 40 minutes and we did! It was so much fun, we spent a few hours at the zoo when we were done.
We were very busy this week and got to see Ayda twice! We went for a nice stroll around the Galleria and our daddies met us for lunch!
Like mother like daughter. This little girl likes her thumb!
This is what naptimes look like lately. When Molly Grace wakes up from  her nap she tries so hard to roll over in her crib, but usually settles for turning around instead!
Sweet baby!

I tried squash this week and I like it okay.

Toby's still here!

Photo Friday + Baby Food Adventures

This week started off with a very special day for me. Sunday was my first Mother's Day and I feel so blessed to be living this role of a Mommy. Molly Grace brings me so much joy every day. Last year on Mother's Day we were keeping it a secret that I was going to be a Mother, I was only about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. So, needless to say, this year was different and very special.

Mother's Day

We have been busy. On Monday, we decided to make the plunge and get me a new car. {New to me} The Avalon was having issues and was going to cost more than we wanted to put into it. We have been looking and pretty much knew what I wanted.

I LOVE my Toyota Highlander. It has so much room in it compared to my car. It only made sense for us to get an SUV right now since we are just a family of 3. I will say that I do not think I'll ever go back to having a car.

Molly Grace had her 4 month check up on Tuesday.
Her Stats: 13 lbs 9 1/2 ounces {50th Percentile} 25 1/2 inches long {90th Percentile}, and her head circumference is 17 inches {or as her nurse says, "Molly Grace is 17 inches smart}
She got her 4 month shots and it was NOT fun. She cried and cried, but as soon as I picked her up, she was fine.

Having fun at the doctor's office
We were also given the go ahead on baby food. This week has been so much fun! We decided that sweet potatoes is where we wanted to start. She had a difficult time at first, but is doing SO much better. It is so much fun. She LOVES them. We bought sweet potatoes at the grocery store this week and I have made her baby food for the next week. We will do just sweet potatoes for 4 days, then add squash to the mix! I cannot believe my baby is old enough to eat baby food!

Win and I are doing our first 5K tomorrow! We are so excited! Have a great weekend!

FOUR months & Photo Friday

Molly Grace is FOUR months old!

Molly Grace at 4 months:
-She LOVES her feet. She grabs them any chance she gets. She found her left foot first and it took a few days after that to realize that she has TWO feet! She holds them when I change her diaper (trying to help me out). She has figured out how to put them in her mouth. She LOVES them. It's the cutest thing.
-She is in so many different sizes of clothes. Baby clothes do NOT make sense. She wears some 0-3 month things still, but is mostly in 3-6 or 6 month clothes. We are going through them so fast now.
-She is in size 2 diapers still and is drinking about 5 ounces of milk with each feeding. She is still eating every 3-4 hours.
-She is awesome at night. Her bedtime is usually between 8-8:30 and she wakes up anywhere between 7:15-8:30 in the morning.
-She figured out how to roll over in her crib last week but has only done it 3 times since then.
-She is still rolling over, mainly from her back to her tummy, but she has started figuring out that she can roll over two times in a row! It is so funny watching her do this.
-She LOVES being outside. I got some new patio furniture for my birthday and we have definitely been enjoying it.

Here's for the photo Friday part! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
