15 Months

Molly Grace had her 15 month check up today which included 3 shots. Poor thing, at least she gets over them as soon as the nurse walks away.

Her stats at 15 months:

21 pounds 7 ounces
31 1/2 inches
18 inches smart

I love this age. I really do. Molly Grace is communicating more and is exploring the world around her. She likes to have fun!

Likes: being outside (all.the.time), "pat pat" (Little Einsteins), "Me Mou" (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), bubbles, eating fruit, stackadoos, legos, bath time, and drawing.

Dislikes: having to come inside, being told "no", when Daddy goes to work

Food: lately all I can get you to eat is fruit. (except bananas) Anytime you want something, you want fruit. This is good, however I would like you to get more nutrients. I think it's just a phase.
peaches, pears, strawberries, grapes, oranges, and steamed apples are your favorite foods. You also have started to like peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.

Words: bubbles, wower (flower- my favorite word to hear you say, it's so stinking cute), wa wa, apa (apple), mulk (milk), toy (toby), outsi (outside), da da, ma ma, me, nana, da daddy (granddaddy), papa, mammy (grammy), ashy (ashley), daw (draw), baaaa (bath) spash (splash), baby (emphasis on the y sound), bye, hey, hello, fro (frog), turte (turtle), bowl, head, ear, nose, no, mou (mouth), me mou (mickey mouse), min mou (minnie mouse), pat pat (words for Little Einsteins), es (yes), mar (march), shoes, opa (open), do (emphasis on "O"- door), dipa (diaper), shoo (when she has a stinky diaper), spoo (spoon), be bu (belly button), toes, doll, monkey sounds, moo, duck, wee, peeee (pear), dader (cracker), cean (clean), night night, up, dow (down), pop, eat, nack (snack) bir (bird), ish (fish), hot, burr (when she is cold, or the wind blows), yuh yuh (lovey), cold....I'm sure there are more that I can't think of, but this list shows she talks all the time!

Spring is here!

We have been so busy staying outside lately, it is finally warm enough every day for us to get some time outside. Since I haven't posted about Easter yet, here are our pictures. We went to church, had an Easter egg hunt, and then to Win's parents house for lunch. We had a wonderful day!

She was not fond of the bunny!

We have enjoyed the zoo with Katy and Charlie since the weather has been so nice!

We have enjoyed Pelham City Park with Sarah and the twins!

We have driven to Cottondale to see some of our favorite people! (Rebecca & Ayda)

Drinking milk and getting sleepy for nap!
We have been VERY messy and have had numerous mid-day baths.

We made a trip to Mobile, which made us wake a sleepy girl up from her nap. This trip ended so soon. We weren't even there 24 hours before we found out some sad news for our family and headed back home.

Sweet sleeping baby

On the road!

She loves Nana's treadmill!

Playing outside

We lost a very special man last weekend. Pop, my grandfather, was such a Godly man and a true example of love and what a family man is. He finished his race and won! He is now up in Heaven enjoying the Lord who he loved so very much. This world will never be the same without you, but because of you, we are all better people. We miss you on this earth, but know you are pain free!

Since it has been so warm, we got out the pool! Molly Grace loves playing in her pool. After the visitation and funeral last week, Nana came to stay. (with Granddaddy only a few days later) We went and got Molly Grace a water table. Her outside time will never be the same. She LOVES it and would play with it all day if we let her!

That's all for now! We go to the doctor for Molly Grace's 15 month check up and I'll update more on her then!
