Molly Grace

Molly Grace,

You are 2 1/2 years old. You are full of personality and opinion. These two's are something else. We have very challenging days, then some days are so wonderful it's too good to be true. You are exactly like Mommy and look like your daddy. It is the most fun to watch you grow and learn things about your world and how it works.

Things you love these days:
Your baby dolls. Oh, your baby dolls. You change their diapers, you swaddle them and put them down for naps and bed, you feed them, take them places and love them. I have even found you getting on to them.
You love playdoh. We play with it daily - meaning, Mommy sweeps it up daily. :)You are so creative with it, that's what makes it worth it.
You LOVE helping us around the house. You will clean up clothes, you throw things away, and you will help us vacuum. It makes you so happy when we let you help do these things.

You are definitely showing your toddler self when you won't eat some days. We go through spurts where you will eat anything, and spurts where you won't eat anything.

You LOVE singing. You know so many songs all the way through. Your favorite songs you sing daily are: Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Loves the Little Children, You Are My Sunshine, Books of the Bible (you know a good bit of them, but get mixed up some), Zaccheus was a Wee Little Man, Old MacDonald

You love your brother. Sometimes, a little too much. You want to hug him and pull him over numerous times during a day. We are trying to work on that. You always want to make sure he has been fed and has a clean diaper. You love helping change his diaper. When he gets upset, you will go over to him and say "I'm right here Bradley, it's ok" & it melts our hearts.

You like to match. Not coordinating colors - same color shirt with same color bottoms. Same color hair bow and clip. You like to use playdoh that matches something on your clothes. You color with a crayon that is the same color on some of your clothes.

You love going to church. You learned your first Bible verse this summer and it is the sweetest sound in my ears to hear you say it.
"I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength."

You can say anything and everything. You are non-stop talking from the moment you wake unit the moment you crash at the end of the day.
A few things you have said lately that I don't want to forget:

Mommy: Why did you get up during the night last night?
MG: because I sat there and sat there and whined.
Mommy: But, why did you get up out of bed?
MG: Because I can do everything through Christ that gives me strength.
You got me there, sweetie.

What's the problem?

You picked up your play phone and had this conversation:
"Daddy, time to come home from work, we need to go to the beach." throws phone down...
"that's annoying! I can't hear daddy, bye!"

You love. You have the sweetest heart there is. You are innocent and tender and I wish I could bottle you up and keep you this way. You are my best girl and I love you so. You light up the room with your smile. Your laugh, oh your laugh. It is one that I will always remember. I love watching you grow. You are growing up so fast and it is so fun. We love you to the moon and back!
