Bradley - 4 Months

Big boy, you are FOUR months old! Hard to believe we are 1/3 of the way to ONE YEAR. I can't even begin to think about that!

You have the sweetest smile and laugh. It melts my heart every single time. You love "talking". After you wake to eat around 4 am some mornings, we lay you back down thinking you are asleep. Within a few minutes we hear the sweetest sounds. Hard to be mad at that! :) You have found your feet the past few weeks and you are really starting to love them!

You are taking 3 naps a day. One about 2-3 hours after you wake in the morning, another around 1 pm, and another between 4-5. Some days are better than others. You are still being swaddled. We tried to let you sleep and nap without it, but you did not like it. It is not worth all of us losing sleep right now! You are still waking once, sometimes twice, during the night. You are usually asleep for the night between 9-10 and wake anywhere between 1:30-4 to eat. You nurse every 3 hours during the day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Still not consistent and that is ok.

Your stats at 4 months:
15 lbs 15 oz - 75% in weight
26 inches long - 90% in height
Head Circumference - 17 inches smart

We get to start baby oatmeal with you this week. I am not sure if we will keep with it, or just move on  to baby foods like we did with your sister. I have already made your first foods and froze them! This part is so much fun! I love making baby food!

Bradley,

We love you so much. Each day is new with you. Some days you want to be held all day, some days you are content anywhere. We cannot imagine this life without you. God has truly blessed us with you and we hope we will bless you. We pray daily that you will come to know Jesus and how much he loves you. We pray that you will grow up to be a strong christian young man and lead others to Jesus. We love watching you learn about this world that we call home. We hope and pray we will be the parents God wants us to be in order to lead you to Him. We love you to the moon and back little man!
